Our Staff
Nneka Okala is the Directress of Greenbrier Montessori School. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland, and also holds a St. Nicholas Primary Montessori certificate, (AMS). Nneka is married with two children. Besides being a Montessori teacher and directress, Nneka enjoys cooking, traveling and being around her family and friends.
Michelle Hegedus has been a parent with our school for 8 years, and the school's Administrator for a year. She teaches in the Elementary program. She has a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Maryland, an M.B.A. from the University of West Florida, and holds an AMI elementary level Montessori certification. She is the mother of Brenna 11, Sloane 7, and Rowan 5.
Ms. Adonica Williams is a native of Hampton Roads. She has a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Old Dominion University. She is an American Montessori Society (AMS) certified Montessori teacher at the primary level, and has over 14 years experience working with children. Adonica is an active member of her church and enjoys traveling.

Ana Polanca joins us this year working in Children's House. She has 7 years experience as a Montessori assistant. She is married with two children. She enjoys exercising and reading. Her fluenceny in Spanish is an added benefit to the children as they start to learn to speak and read Spanish.
Osiris Velasquez, a vetted child care specialist is the toddler room guide. Osiris brings 9 years of progressive experience to the development of very young learners. She is a mother of three children. Osiris enjoys cooking, reading and sharing time with family. Osiris also teaches more advanced Spanish to the elementary children.
Anjela Toteva works in the elementary classroom. She compliments the committed expression of learning carried on by Michelle Hegedus. With this combined talent, the children are exposed to an enriching range of interpersonal dynamics. She lives with her family in the local area.
Michelle Bond also works in the elementary classroom. She has a bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Old Dominion University and teaches the after school art classes. Her creativity is a great asset to our school. She enjoys baking, reading and painting in her free time.
